Consultation
The first step to working with us is a brief, complimentary phone consultation during which we will discuss logistics (e.g. scheduling, fee, insurance) as well as the reasons that are bringing you to therapy. We will then schedule a consultation appointment either in-person at one of our offices or through a telehealth medium.
Payment
We accept all major credit cards, HSA/FSA cards, checks and cash.
Insurance
We are an out-of-network provider and do not participate with insurance. However, many of our patients are able to use their out-of-network benefits and we are glad to help you navigate this process, provide the necessary paperwork, submit claims on your behalf, and offer consultation about any issues that may arise.
If you would like to verify your own coverage, you can call the number on the back of your insurance card and ask the following questions:
Do I have out-of-network behavioral health benefits?
Do I have an out-of-network deductible that must be met before I get reimbursed? Has any amount of my deductible been covered this year?
What is my co-insurance amount? Co-insurances often range between 20%-40% of the session cost. For example, if the cost of a session is $275 you will be reimbursed between $165-$220 per session by your insurance company.
What is the usual and customary rate covered by my insurance for outpatient psychotherapy (CPT Code 90834)? Other CPT Codes may include:
90837 - Psychotherapy, 60 minutes
90846 - Family Psychotherapy, without patient present
90847 - Family Psychotherapy, with patient present
Sliding Scale Fees
We are committed to serving the community and to making care accessible and therefore offer sliding scale fees based on individual needs as well as support patients in making use of out-of-network benefits.
