Corey Bryant is a licensed mental health counselor who provides psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, and couples. He has extensive experience in providing affirming care to members of the LGBTQ+ community, as well as with identity-related issues, including racial, sexual, and gender. Corey also works with those experiencing mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, grief and loss, relationship challenges, substance use, and difficulty breaking out of repetitive patterns.

Corey works from a psychodynamic/psychoanalytic orientation. His therapeutic style is collaborative and warm, and he works to help individuals understand themselves more deeply. Corey also works with those who feel a sense of internal conflict, experience challenges with intimacy, feel blocked creatively, and a sense of emotional emptiness or dissatisfaction with life. Corey believes no topic is too big or too small, and his hope is that you can feel comfortable discussing anything in sessions. Each person is unique, and each session is always something new.

Corey earned his M.A. in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness from New York University. He completed training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy from National Institute for the Psychotherapies and the NYU Postdoctoral Program for Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis.

Corey’s specialties include working with the LGBTQ+ community, BIPOC populations, Anxiety and Depression, Trauma Therapy, Life Transitions, Sexuality, Challenges in Dating and Romantic Relationships, Couples Therapy, Therapy for College Students, and Therapy for Teenagers.
