Dr. Jessica Rakhamim is a psychologist who provides psychotherapy services to individuals across the lifespan, collaborating with folks in an individual, group, family, and couples therapy framework. Through a trauma-informed and multicultural lens, she enjoys working with and empowering young adults, children and teenagers, immigrants and children of immigrants, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, individuals with difficulty managing intense emotions alone, and folks with relationship issues. Her approach is designed to encourage an intimate and authentic relationship that provides a secure base for individuals in need of emotional and psychological support.

Dr. Rakhamim’s work is grounded in psychodynamic theory and practice, with a specific emphasis on a relational framework and the importance of gaining insight into oneself. Dr. Rakhamim earned her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Long Island University. She completed her predoctoral internship at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, gaining extensive experience working with children, teenagers, and adults in outpatient community health clinics, inpatient units, and other psychiatric emergency settings.
